Munin Apertus 8B is a Danish-focused text-only language model from the Munin 1.0 family.

It is post-trained from [`swiss-ai/Apertus-8B-2509`](https://huggingface.co/swiss-ai/Apertus-8B-2509), a fully open Apache 2.0 base model from Swiss AI.

The model is part of the [Munin 1.0 collection](https://huggingface.co/collections/danish-foundation-models/munin-10).

## Intended use

The model is intended for Danish text generation and instruction-following use cases. It does not support image-to-text or other multimodal inputs.
